Haha. I should try a OHC sometime.

Sounds very much like the GG2 Soundtrack, just without the live instruments. :)

Ahh! The timbre of her voice is perfect for this soundtrack. Wonderful job to her and a chipper interview as well. :)

Loving these interviews; it's so awesome to get to know a bit about the people involved in the GunGirl soundtrack. :)

If my memory does not fail me, you should have one more coming soon, correct? Can't wait!

"you need to start with clean source material"

This, this and this. Live is so much easier when a recording is done great and only need touch ups through mixing. Probably to drop or raise some highs or lows, or mids, whatever. I've worked with some awful recordings before and some amazing one, so I can't agree enough with that.

I may be a bit over the top with good recordings... but there is no excuse not to have one for a professional project. It makes life so much easier.

And Josh, greaaaaaaat article. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks for the purchase!

To be honest, my Fast Track Ultra is actually a 'lil defective and the power supply is broken on it. I can use it normally powered only through USB, but I have to quickly turn it on and off to get it to boot properly the first time - and when I have it wall-powered it's heinous and pops unusably. This is why I've been sticking to the PCI for now. I'll probably send it in sometime next month to get it replaced, but it's been reliable for live shows so I wanted to make sure I didn't send it off when I might get booked.
I bought the disc on my way in, am I doing this right?

That's a very nice collection of gear, both hardware and software. The neat thing to me is that there isn't really a whole lot there that doesn't need to be there - while I like to collect random music goodies, it sounds like you've kept it pretty focused.

How does that M-Audio FTA work out for you? I use one myself but I run into a lot of pops and trouble if I try to do anything low latency (256 samples or so), I'd like to know if it's just my computer or not.

Keep on making awesome tracks so we fans can keep nerding out about them :)
